Self-care strategies for your wrists, shoulders, and low back.

Feel Better on the Pole

Simple strategies for staying strong, mobile, and pain-free

A collaboration with the Artistic Athlete Health Collective and Fly Together Fitness.

If you love pole dancing but sometimes feel wrist, shoulder, hip, or low back pain creeping in, you’re not alone.

In this 90-minute workshop, the Artistic Athlete Health Collective and Fly Together Fitness are teaming up to help you understand common overuse and pole-specific injuries — and what you can do about them.

Led by physical therapist and former gymnast Katie Selig, PT, DPT, you’ll learn simple tools you can use on your own, both in and out of the studio.

Expect a mix of discussion, movement, and hands-on strategies focused on:

  • Wrist, shoulder, and hip discomfort from overuse

  • When to stretch vs. when to strengthen

  • How to spot compensation patterns

  • When it’s time to get professional help

Sunday, September 7th | 2:30–4:00 PM

$45 | Open to the Public

📍 Fly Together Fitness – 100 Parker St, Watertown, MA

Whether you're new to pole or a seasoned spinner, you'll walk away with insights and exercises to support your body and extend your time on the pole.
